2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

You can get the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado in nine trims: Work Truck (WT), Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, ZR2, and High Country. You can also get the Silverado 1500 as a two-door regular cab, four-door extended cab (Double Cab), or four-door crew cab. If that weren't enough, you also get to choose from three bed sizes: 8-foot, 6.5-foot, and 5-foot-8-inch. The WT has 17-inch steel wheels and a locking tailgate, while the Custom adds body-colored trim and trades out the wheels for 20-inch aluminum ones. The Custom and LT Trail Boss come with 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires for a better off-road experience. You get 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, and chrome exterior trim on the LT. Moving up to the RST adds LED fog lights, body-colored exterior trim, and 18-inch aluminum wheels. The upscale LTZ has a power tailgate, power-sliding rear window, and 20-inch alloy wheels. The top-of-the-line High Country offers a spray-in bedliner.

Depending on the trim level, four engines are available for the 2022 Chevy 1500. A 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with an eight-speed automatic transmission delivers 310 horsepower and 348 pound-feet of torque. This engine is standard on the WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, and RST. For a little more power, the LTZ goes with a 5.3-liter V-8 that produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Next is a 6.2-liter V-8 that garners 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque and comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission for the Custom Trail Boss. Finally, the Duramax turbocharged diesel is available and is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, which will get you 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

Chevrolet knows all about performance, and the 1500 is no exception. Most trims feature standard rear-wheel drive, with four-wheel drive available to help you conquer any road or weather conditions. When properly equipped, your 1500 can haul a maximum of 13,000 pounds, making it perfect for trailering equipment to the worksite or recreational toys for a weekend of fun.

Chevy designed the interior of the Silverado 1500 to be both comfortable and convenient for passengers and drivers alike.
