Trim Levels (Exterior)
You can get the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe in six trims: LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country. The LS starts off with 18-inch wheels and LED headlights, and the LT adds a hands-free liftgate. The RST comes with 22-inch wheels, a unique front fascia, and a black exterior trim. Engine (Power)
The standard engine for the 2022 Chevy Tahoe is a 5.3-liter V-8 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This combination gets you 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. The RST, Z71, and Premier have an available 6.2-liter V-8 that produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, while this engine is standard on the High Country. All trims except the Z71 can also opt for a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder diesel engine that delivers 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
Performance-enhancing features can make the overall driving experience more enjoyable and easier for drivers. A four-wheel-drive system is an option on all trims except the Z71, where it's standard to provide you with better traction and control regardless of road conditions. You can stop on a dime, thanks to the four-wheel anti-lock braking system. Hill-start assist temporarily applies the brakes to keep you from rolling backward, giving you more confidence on inclines. The hitch guidance makes it easier to hook up to haul between 7,600 and 7,900 pounds, depending on which engine you choose.
Interior
Sliding behind the wheel of the 2022 Tahoe points out all the comfort and convenience features you've come to expect from Chevy. The LS has eight-passenger seating and an 8-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
