Trim Levels of the 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD: Heavy-Duty Choices

WT

The aptly named Work Truck, or WT, packs a big gas V8 and an Allison ten-speed automatic transmission, a combo that allows it to tow up to 18,700 pounds when equipped with a fifth-wheel or Gooseneck hitch, a long bed, and rear-wheel drive.

For those who require the serious pulling power of diesel, the 6.6-liter Duramax turbo-diesel V8 is available. With the Max Trailering Package, it can tow up to 22,420 pounds.

Custom

This trim carries over nearly all the standard features of the WT and then adds cloth upholstery, 20-inch aluminum wheels, carpeted floor coverings, body-color bumpers, and power-adjustable trailering mirrors with heated upper glass and integrated turn signal indicators.

LT

The Luxury Touring (LT) stays true to its name with a wrapped steering wheel with mounted controls, a 13.4-inch touchscreen with Google built-in (instead of a seven-inch unit), a 12.3-inch Driver Information Center, and keyless open and start. In addition, it offers a 120-volt household-style outlet in the bed and a power EZ Lift tailgate.

LTZ
