The 2026 Chevrolet Trailblazer is a compact sport utility vehicle available at Larsen Auto Center in Frederic, Wisconsin. This vehicle is designed to provide utility for drivers who operate in both urban and rural settings. The model lineup consists of four distinct trim levels. These levels are the LS, LT, ACTIV, and RS. Each trim level offers specific mechanical and interior features to meet the standard requirements of different operators.

Technical Specifications and Trim Levels

LS Trim

The LS serves as the entry-level trim for the 2026 Trailblazer. It is equipped with a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine. This engine produces 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. The exterior features 17-inch silver-painted aluminum wheels with 225/60R17 tires. Inside the cabin, the vehicle includes an 11-inch diagonal high-definition color touchscreen. For increased cargo capacity, the front passenger seat is designed to fold flat.

LT Trim

The LT trim includes the features found in the LS but adds several convenience items. It comes with a keyless open and start system, as well as a remote vehicle starter. The exterior is updated with silver-painted roof rails. While the 1.2-liter engine remains standard, the LT trim offers an optional upgrade to a 1.3-liter engine for increased performance.

ACTIV Trim

The ACTIV trim is configured for use on unpaved surfaces. It features a standard 1.3-liter engine that delivers 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. Mechanical additions include a suspension system tuned for off-road use and a functional skid plate to protect the underside of the vehicle. It also features dual-outlet exhausts and 17-inch high-gloss black machined-aluminum wheels fitted with sport terrain tires.

RS Trim

The RS trim focuses on sport-themed design elements. Like the ACTIV, it uses the 1.3-liter engine producing 155 horsepower. This trim is equipped with 19-inch high-gloss black machined-aluminum wheels and 245/45R19 tires. The interior design includes red accents. The RS trim is intended for drivers who prefer a specific visual style along with the larger engine.

Technology and Connectivity

The 2026 Trailblazer includes various electronic features as standard equipment. The primary interface is an 11-inch touchscreen located in the center of the dashboard. This system is compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. These tools allow drivers to connect mobile devices to the vehicle interface without using cables.

Additional technology options include a Bose audio system for sound reproduction. Available hardware features include a wireless charging pad for compatible smartphones and a push-button start system. These components are intended to simplify the operation of the vehicle and its secondary functions.

Safety Systems

All 2026 Trailblazer models come with Chevy Safety Assist. This is a standard suite of six safety technologies designed to assist the driver. The suite includes:

  • Forward Collision Alert: Monitors the distance to the vehicle ahead.
  • Automatic Emergency Braking: Applies brakes if a potential collision is detected.
  • Front Pedestrian Braking: Detects pedestrians in the path of the vehicle.
  • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning: Provides steering alerts if the vehicle drifts out of its lane.
  • Following Distance Indicator: Displays the gap time between vehicles.
  • IntelliBeam: Automatically adjusts high-beam headlamps.

Other available safety features include adaptive cruise control and rear cross-traffic alert. These systems use sensors to monitor the area around the vehicle.

Interior Design and Utility

The interior of the Trailblazer is designed to hold five adult passengers. The cabin layout allows for various storage configurations. When the front passenger seat is folded flat, the vehicle can hold items that are up to 8.5 feet in length.

On the exterior, the ACTIV and RS trims offer a two-tone roofline option. A new exterior paint color called Apex Red is available for the 2026 model year. These design choices allow for visual differentiation between the different models.

Larsen Auto Center in Frederic, Wisconsin, maintains an inventory of these vehicles. Drivers may visit the location to view the different trims and verify the technical specifications in person. The 2026 Trailblazer remains a functional option within the compact SUV category due to its combination of safety technology and interior space.
