We love our small village of Frederic, WI. And we especially appreciate the shops it has to offer. So when you’re planning a day of shopping, we’ve got some suggestions to get you going. The following are some of our favorite places to stop in.
1. Angel Hands Thrift Shop
Furniture, clothing, household goods, oh my! Here at Angel Hands, they have mountains of items. Add to the list DVDs and records, household appliances and kitchenware, and even tools to help build that woodshed behind your house. But we have to warn you, if you see something you like, grab it because it may very well be gone the next time you visit. They are located at 100 Oak St. W and are open Sunday through Friday. 2. Mud Hut Gifts & Crafts
Bring out your inner creative side at Mud Hut, which offers supplies for scrapbooking, sewing, and more. Check out the room in the back of the store called the “bargain room” for extra discounted items. One of their specialties is rubber stamps. You can have your name, logo, or whatever you like made into a stamp, which is especially useful if you are a business owner or an independent contractor. You will find this store at 114 Oak St. W.
3. Thread Shed Boutique
The owners here have made it their goal to make sure every person who walks through the doors knows that they are beautiful, no matter their size. That’s why they have clothing ranging from XS to 3X. They have everything from tops, bottoms, jeans, dresses, shoes, and accessories. There’s a plethora to choose from in each category as well. All of this, plus affordable prices, make this a must-stop for females of any age. Thread Shed Boutique‘s address is 1054 350th Ave.
4. One10 Gallery
You might want to plan at least half a day here, maybe more, just browsing all of the unique artwork and gifts. They boast both local artists and those from around the country. You’ll find the store just stunning, with beautifully handcrafted gems. And they aren’t overpriced like you might expect to find. So take some time, indulge by buying something pretty, and enjoy the One10 Gallery at 110 Wisconsin Ave N in Frederic.
